Ampere-hour (Ah/AH):The ampere-hour (symbolized as Ah or A·h) is a unit of electric charge equal to 3600 coulombs or 3.6 kilowatt hours. It is often used as a unit of measure for batteries, such as those found in automobiles and laptop computers. The capacity of a battery is usually expressed in terms of ampere-hours; for example, a car battery with a capacity of 60 Ah can provide 1 A of current for 60 hours, or 2 A for 30 hours, before it needs to be recharged.
