Distributed power:Distributed power is electricity generated at or near the point of use. Distributed power can come from a variety of sources, including renewable energy sources like solar PV and wind, as well as more traditional sources like natural gas-fired CHP systems. Distributed power can provide a number of benefits to the electric grid, including improved system reliability and resilience, reduced transmission and distribution losses, and increased integration of renewable energy sources.
