Edge-defined film-fed growth (EFG): Edge-defined film-fed growth (EFG) is a method of growing thin films on substrates using a process similar to printing. EFG involves depositing material onto a substrate using an inkjet printhead or other deposition device. The deposited material forms a thin film that can be used for various applications such as solar cells, semiconductor devices, and optoelectronic devices.
